What is the end point of training?

The end point of GP specialty training is the MRCGP exam which consists of 3 components – the Applied Knowledge Test (AKT), the Clinical Skills Assessment (CSA) and Work Place Based Assessment. (WPBA). More details of the examination can be found on the RCGPExternal link website.

Once you have successfully completed your training, you may apply to for a GP CCT which will allow you to work independently as a GP. See GMC web siteExternal link for more information regarding certification
