Recruitment Calendar

The dates below apply to all deaneries recruiting to specialty GP training programmes to commence August 2011. Please note that recruitment dates for 2011 are earlier than in previous years. It is important that you make a note of these dates and ensure you are free to attend initial assessments and receive offers.

Posts to commence 3rd August 2011
Applications submitted from 9.00am Monday 22nd November 2010
Applications submitted by Midnight Sunday 19th December 2010
No late applications will be accepted
Foundation Competence evidence (if not attached to application) submitted by Midnight Sunday 19th December 2010
Wherever possible, evidence should be attached to the application form before submission.
Stage 2 - (MMT) During week commencing 17 January 2011 at a large number of venues across the UK.
Places can be booked from 4th January 2011
Academic interviews Week commencing 14th February 2011
Stage 3 - (SAC) From 21st February 2011 until 4th March 2011.
Places must be booked by 13th February 2011
Offers out From 11th March 2011
Offers accepted by Within 48 hours of offer
Local Clearing commences From 14th march 2011 as offers are accepted / declined
National Clearing from 4th April 2011 or earlier if possible
