Does my immigration status affect my application?
Currently, those who hold HSMP visa or those dependant on HSMP visa
holders will be considered alongside applicants from UK/EEA. Work permits,
if required, will only be issued where there is a specific post for the
overseas doctor that cannot be filled by someone from within the UK or EEA.
This means that doctors who do not require a work permit and who are
successful at selection interview will be afforded priority when
allocating available training posts.
