Do I have to accept the post if offered?

No, you don't have to accept a post if one is offered to you. You will be expected to accept or decline any offer within 5 days. You cannot "hold" offers while waiting for the outcome of any applications you have made. (See Calendar).

You should realise that you will only be made one offer for General Practice and if you do decline it, you will not be made another. You are also advised that the GMC in "Good Medical Practice" states that you should not withdraw once you have formally accepted a post.
