The KSS Deanery covers a large area of Southeast England: from Dover and Medway in the east, along the South Coast to near Portsmouth in the west, up to the Surrey/ Hampshire borders and the Southern boundaries of Greater London.

Population 4.2m; 2,300 GP principals; 210 training practices and 14 GP Specialty Training Programmes working from 19 geographical locations in a variety of urban, suburban, semi-rural and rural settings. This area is close to London, with excellent motorway, rail and airport facilities, and a number of ferry services and the Channel Tunnel rail links ensure that the rest of Europe is also very close.

Outstanding communications combine with real quality of life with the combination of easy access to the capital and exciting provincial towns, which include Brighton, Chichester, Canterbury, Tunbridge Wells and Guildford, and beautiful rural and coastal settings, which give an attractive wealth of choice to any applicant.
