NORTHERN DEANERY

The Northern Deanery comprises of four vocational training schemes, Tees Valley, East Cumbria, Northumbria and West Cumbria. The deanery lies south of the border with Scotland and covers, Northumberland, Newcastle, Sunderland, Durham, Teeside and Cumbria.

This is a wonderful part of the country and you will undoubtedly enjoy a quality lifestyle throughout your training with us. There are abundant opportunities for outdoor pursuits (e.g. climbing, fell walking, sailing, horse-riding etc.), particularly in the beautiful Lake District, Northumberland National Park, Weardale, Teesdale and the North Yorkshire Moors National Park. The cities and towns of the region provide a range of historical and modern cultural experiences as well as hosting renowned football, rugby and cricket clubs.
