that within the East Midlands we have some of the longest standing & well established Training Programmes in the UK and all our 3 year Programmes include 20 months in a General Practice. Being in the middle of the country means that we border many other Deaneries and we have great transport links to all major cities.

EAST MIDLANDS DEANERY

The East Midlands is a fabulous area in which to live, work, learn and play. We aim to provide the highest standards of training opportunities and expect high standards and excellent results from our trainees.

The East Midlands covers an area from Worksop & Retford in the north to Northampton in the south and from the Peak District in the west to the East Coast of Lincolnshire. We have great transport links whether travelling by rail or road or air, we have the M1 is on our doorstep along with East Midlands Airport which is on the border of Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire.
