WELCOME

The National Recruitment Office for General Practice Training web site.

General Practice is an attractive career option for many doctors, whether you are currently finishing your Foundation Programme or looking for a career change. Our GP Careers section may give you a flavour of what modern GP practice entails.

The Recruitment section outlines our national standard recruitment and assessment processes and provides guidance on eligibility requirements as well as detailed information about how to apply.

Profiles of all UK deaneries and the programmes available within each deanery together with details of geography, contact details and web sites are also available to help you make an informed choice about where you want to train.
